How PublishSentry works for GP practices

Short version: you give us the public website, our automated pipeline crawls, reviews, and verifies what is linked, and we email factual findings with the evidence. No private systems, no legal verdicts.

1. Step 1

   Add your practice website

   Tell us the public website URL and a work email. We only look at publicly linked pages and documents on that site. You get a confirmation email straight away.

2. Step 2

   Polite crawl plus AI review

   Our crawler reads the public pages and documents linked from the practice website at a polite rate, then an AI review adds practice-manager findings grounded only in that crawl evidence. Nothing is invented beyond what the crawl actually saw.

3. Step 3

   Real-browser verification with screenshots

   A real browser then opens the site on mobile and desktop to confirm or correct the findings and capture screenshots. The same pass estimates reading age for key patient pages against the NHS 9 to 11 target and runs automated WCAG 2.2 spot checks. Automated checks catch only part of accessibility issues.

4. Step 4

   Report by email, with a shareable link

   The pipeline is automated end to end, so results usually arrive in minutes rather than days; we say within 24 hours to allow for busy periods. Each finding shows the page we checked and a screenshot where one was captured, and the report opens from a link you can forward to your website supplier. Premium also saves reports in your dashboard and re-runs the scan automatically.

5. Step 5

   Review factual findings

   You receive observations such as an item not clearly found, a confirmed broken link, a stated review date that looks past, or an advisory note. We do not say you are legally non-compliant or that you have failed CQC.
